What will you do? - You will conduct interviews with participants and volunteers from Nieuw-Vennep/Abenes, establish a match and provide aftercare. - You will process the data in our registration system and ensure that it is up-to-date. - You will conduct intake interviews with participants of the regional holiday week. - You will join four board and four volunteer meetings per year and help think about policy and implementation. - You will perform the work together with another colleague, she will introduce you and later you will divide the work among yourselves. You have/are: - Affinity with less mobile (older) people and care about them. - Knowledge of people and are socially minded. - Creative and thinks in solutions. Are you an energetic organizational talent and do you like to go out with younger people who are less mobile? Then we are looking for you! What will you do? - You have a lot of fun with the participants! - You organize fun activities/trips with a small team for younger people (18-60 years old) who are less mobile. - You are available for about two hours per month on average to prepare the outings. - You provide guidance during the activity and help push a wheelchair if necessary. - Occasionally you may help as a driver (if you have a driver's license/car). School vegetable garden supervisor

Do you like gardening? And do you like working with children? We are looking for a volunteer who enjoys supporting schools in Haarlemmermeer in maintaining their school vegetable garden. You do this from Groene Kapstok, the educational platform of NMCX, the center for sustainability in Haarlemmermeer. How does it work? Primary schools in Haarlemmermeer register with us to maintain a vegetable garden. This could be a garden next to the school, at an allotment garden association, at the farmer's or at De Heimanshof. The school garden season for schools is from March to July. In March we organize teacher workshops where teachers and supervisors receive the sowing schedules and instructions. The students will start in March. We supply the schools with organic seed potatoes, seeds, fertilizer and plants. You will work approximately 4 hours per week per school garden. You can optionally choose to supervise several school gardens. Your activities: * Prepare materials in advance for the school garden lesson * During the lesson, guide the students in taking care of the garden and giving instructions about the activity of the lesson * Keep the school garden weed-free and water it occasionally if necessary Who you are: You are a positive, enthusiastic colleague who knows about vegetable gardening and enjoys working with children. You live in the region. Do you like gardening?

Bardo accommodates people in the final phase of their lives. There are two gardens around the hospice, including one with a view of the Hoofddorp fort and the Geniedijk, which guests and their loved ones can use. The gardens also contribute to a pleasant stay at Bardo. The gardens are maintained by a friendly group of volunteers. Once every two weeks, on Monday mornings (9:00 - 11:00) from March to November, they work together in the garden. In the winter months, they look at when something is needed. A few times a year, a gardening company takes care of major maintenance, such as pruning trees. If you have any questions, the gardener can also be asked for advice. Do you have green fingers or do you like working outdoors and do you want to work with the other garden volunteers to ensure that the gardens are a pleasant place for our guests? Enthusiastic physio fitness supervisor

On Tuesday afternoons our residents like to go to physio fitness. Get some exercise, have a chat, get out for a while. Can you help them remember this and guide them to and during the activity? Some residents have a wheelchair, there are also residents with memory problems. Will you ensure a great afternoon together with the physiotherapist? It is from 2:15 PM to 3:15 PM, 1st group or preferably until 3:45 PM (2 groups in a row). The fitness room is also in the Bornholm nursing home.

Praktijkhuis Inspiration is a non-profit organization that runs almost entirely on passionate volunteers. It is an organization under construction with a very enthusiastic team. *** Who are we looking for? You enjoy meeting new people. You are social and hospitable and enjoy having a chat with everyone. You are available at least 1 day every 2 weeks. You enjoy being meaningful, helping people and helping to build something. Want to become an inspiration? Voluntary energy coaches offer residents of Haarlemmermeer practical help to save energy. Will you join the Energy Bank? A team of enthusiastic volunteers will be happy to welcome you! The work of an energy coach is incredibly valuable and rewarding work; people will be very happy with your help in the coming heating season. You can make a difference and give residents of Haarlemmermeer control over their energy bill again. What will you do? As an energy coach, you help to get a grip on energy consumption. You visit people at home and discuss the energy bill with the residents. You also show which devices in the house consume a lot of electricity, give saving tips and install simple saving materials. No experience? No problem! Knowledge of energy saving and facilities is not necessarily required. What is important is that you enjoy helping people from different backgrounds. Cheerful activity supervisor

Jeugdland is a building, playing, doing and discovering place for children of all ages. There are various playground equipment on a large site in Hoofddorp that challenge and encourage discovery. You can play with water, sand, wood (building huts) and you can play, do crafts or read in the clubhouse. Activities are organized every opening day. Jeugdland is a place where children can be completely themselves. A lot is possible, but nothing is mandatory. At Youthland, the children are in charge of their own play, development, skills and their own hut. This is done under the watchful eye of Youthland employees and the parents/guardians of children under the age of 6. We are looking for activity supervisors who enjoy organizing activities so that the children who come to us have an enjoyable time. You are also responsible for tidying up, maintenance and cleaning of the site. You work in a team with the manager, other employees and volunteers. You are jointly responsible for supervision. We are looking for an experienced volunteer with preferably a (nearly) completed Social Work training. If you do not have this training (yet), we expect demonstrable experience. A current Certificate of Good Conduct is mandatory for our employees and board members. With us you can do something for the children from Hoofddorp who could use a helping hand. You work together in a fun and friendly team. You can really add something to the team with your own knowledge and work experience. We review your efforts monthly in consultation with you.
